3 c. flour
1/2 c. cornstarch
1 c. icing sugar
1 lb. butter-no margarine substitutes

1 tsp. vanilla-optional


food colouring if desired

Directions:
Cream butter and icing sugar, add cornstarch & flour. Roll balls, flatten with fork. Put on cookie sheet, cook 15 to 20 minutes @ 325ºF. Makes about 50. **I always do 1/2 recipe in green colouring,nand decorate both natural and green cookies with cut green and red glazed cherries, like holly, for Christmas. ***This can easily be cut in half, as it makes so many!
