Ingredients: 1-2 lbs ground beef 8-10 lasagna noodles 1 small onion diced 1 tsp garlic salt or 3 cloves fresh crushed garlic 1 can sliced mushrooms drained well (optional) 1 small can tomato paste 1 medium can tomato sauce 1 pound mozzarella cheese (shredded or sliced)

Directions:Brown ground beef with onion and garlic and drain. Meanwhile cook lasagna noodles according to package directions and put into cold water for easier handling.
Mix tomato sauce, tomato paste and mushrooms with ground beef.
In a rectangular glass or metal pan layer lasagna noodles, beef mixture and cheese so that you have two layers (cut noodles to fit pan). Cheese should be on top. Bake at 350ºF for approximately 20 minutes until cheese is melted and lasagna is warmed through. |

Notes: Can make this vegetarian by replacing beef with ground round, zucchini, carrots, broccoli, peppers or other vegetables. Can also use pre-cooked lasagna noodles.
