1 pkg. yellow cake mix, or white cake mix
1 c. corn meal
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
1/2 c. butter, cubed
1 extra large egg
1 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Set aside.
Combine corn meal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Add butter and cut into flour mixture until mixed and crumbly.
Beat milk and egg together and add to butter and flour mixture.
Add 2 1/2 c. prepared cake mix, mixing well.
Pour into greased 9"x13" baking pan.
Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes.
Cool slightly, cut, and serve with Honey Butter.
The remaining cake batter can be used to make cupcakes, bake as directed on cake mix box.
