2 lbs hamburger meat, browned & drained
small red onion, chopped
small Vidalia onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
3 (28oz) baked beans
2 (15 oz) red kidney beans, drained
2 (15 oz) cannellini beans, drained
1 (15oz) black beans, rinsed & drained
1 (15oz) large butter beans, drained
1 (15oz) lima beans, drained (we don't like, so we don't add)
1 cup good BBQ sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 Tbl molasses
2 tea garlic powder
1 tea ground mustard
1 tea cinnamon
1 tea cloves
salt/pepper
Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in a large skillet until browned, drain and set aside. In drippings brown the onions & peppers until softened.

In a large Dutch soup pot add the meat, onions, peppers, all cans of beans.

In a bowl combine, remaining ingredients to make up a sauce. Stir until well blended. Add back into Dutch oven with beans. Place in 350 deg oven for 1 1/2 - 2 hours until perfectly melded to taste.
This recipe makes a huge amount to serve up to 50 people at 4th July event.
