1 box Acini Pepe (16 oz. = 8 cups)
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained. Reserve juice.
2 large cans mandarin oranges, drained. Reserve juice.
16 oz sour cream
8 oz cream cheese
1 t. nutmeg
10.5 oz marshmallows
1 t. salt
1 c. corn starch
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. drained juice or orange juice
1 pkg. Polynesian Orange Powder
1 egg, beaten
1 t. pure vanilla
Pecans and maraschino cherries for garnish.



Directions:

Cook Acini Pepe in large sauce pan according to package directions.
Combine fruit and marshmallows and refrigerate.
Combine sour cream, cream cheese and refrigerate while making sauce.
In a sauce pan, combine corn starch, sugar, salt and nutmeg, and Polynesian Orange Powder.
Add water, juice and bring to boil while stirring constantly. Cook about 2 minutes. Add a little of the thickened sauce to the egg, stirring quickly. Pour egg mixture back into thickened sauce and cook about 2 minutes, just up to a boil. Add vanilla. and cool.
Add marshmallows, mix, and pour over Acini Pepe. Mix completely and pour into large serving bowl.
Garnish with pecans, marshmallows, maraschino cherry, etc.
Serve.
