Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 to 1 cup sourdough starter
2 cups flour
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup warm water

Directions:
Directions:
The night before you want to make sourdough, measure sourdough starter and place into a large mixing bowl. Use a large enough bowl to allow the batter to ferment and rise (about 2 qts). Do not use a metal bowl. Add flour, evaporated milk and water. Mix thoroughly. The mixture will be thick and somewhat lumpy but will thin out during the night of fermentation. Cover the bowl and let sit in a warm place. It is important to keep better warm so it will ferment properly.

Remember...start the night before for pancakes, waffles, and bread!
