1 cup cornmeal
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 medium onion minced
3/4 cup milk
Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Stir in finely minced onion and then the milk, mixing to smooth batter.
Drop by teaspoon into hot fat. Turn when they come to the surface. Fry to golden brown. Allow to drip briefly and drain on absorbent paper.
