1 Package Yellow Cake Mix - cook as directed
Vanilla pudding
Variety of canned fruit - pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges, cherries, strawberries etc.. (save the juice)
Gelatin - using the basic lemon recipe

Directions:
Directions:
Bake yellow cake mix into special pan ("flan pan") - according to ingredients and instructions on cake mix.
Turn cake out onto serving plate
Cover the center of cake with a thin layer of vanilla pudding (also prepared according to box instructions)
Arrange any variety of fruit as desired - fresh or canned in patterns all over the cake surface (save juice drained from canned fruit for the gelatin).
Using the basic lemon recipe, make the gelatin topping from Knox unlflavored gelatin.
Use the fruite juices for liquid.
When the gelatin is beginning to thicken, cover the fruit carefully with a thin coat of gelating.
Chill and serve
