Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. noodles
2 6-oz. cans tomato paste
3-4 cloves of garlic
2 cups wine
1 cup water
1 tbsp. sweet basil (more or less to taste)
1 tsp. dill weed (more or less to taste)
1 tsp. oregano (more or less to taste)
2 tsp. brown or white sugar (optional)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the ground beef in a large saucepan while boiling the noodles in a large pot. Pour the grease off the meat and add the wine, water, and tomato paste. Simmer the sauce on low heat. Dice the garlic or press through a garlic press and add it to the sauce. Begin by adding the measurements of the other spices listed above. Taste the sauce and add more depending on your own taste. The sugar will cut down the acidity of the sauce so more can be added if a milder sauce is desired. If the sauce is too thick, add a little more wine and water to thin it down. When the noodles are al dente, pour off the water. Serve the sauce hot over the noodles with salad or French bread as a side.
