2 large cans crushed tomatoes, 28 oz. each
1 8 oz. can tomato paste
2 c. water
6 stalks celery, finely chopped
1 large sweet onion, finely chopped
2 T. crushed garlic
6 carrots, finely chopped
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1 red pepper, finely chopped
2 large Idaho potatoes, cut into ½ inch pieces
1 c. clam juice, or more if too thick
2 heaping T. Old Bay Seasoning
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1½ qt. chopped clams

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a large stock pot except clams. Bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer and cook until potatoes are done. About 30 minutes. Add clams and heat through.
