For the Cookies
2 cups Unsalted Butter Softened
2 cups Granulated Sugar
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp Ground Nutmeg
2 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
15 oz Canned Pumpkin
4 cups All Purpose Flour

For the Icing
1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1/4 cup Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
2 3/4 cups Powdered Sugar
a sprinkle of Ground Cinnamon for each cookie

1. Pre heat oven to 350

2. In large bowl mix butter with electric mixer for 30 sec. Add Sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and Nutmeg. Mix well.

3. Beat in eggs, vanilla and pumpkin

4. slowly beat in flower until combined

5. Drop dough by heaping teaspoons 2 inches apart on cookie sheet

6. Bake for 10-12 Min or until tops are set. transfer to wire rack and let cool

Icing
1. In a small sauce pan hear butter and brown sugar until melted and smooth.
2. Transfer to a medium bowl, stir in milk and vanilla. Beat in powdered sugar until smooth
3. Frost cookies and sprinkle with cinnamon.
