8 flattened chicken breasts*
1 lb. sliced ham
2 lbs. mozzarella cheese, shredded (OR several Swiss cheese slices)
3 c. crushed Ritz crackers
About 1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded

*If you brown them first, the recipe cooks faster.

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Flatten chicken breasts.
3. Grease 9 x 13 pan well; place ½ the chicken in a single layer on the bottom.
4. Cover with 1 ½ c. of crackers .
5. Place a layer of Mozza or Swiss cheese over the crackers, then all the ham, then another layer of Mozza or Swiss cheese.
6. Place the remaining chicken on the cheese.
7. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on the chicken, and cover with the remaining crackers.
8. Cover and bake for 1 ¾ hours. (Check after 1 ¼ hr.) Remove cover and bake for another 15 minutes.
