5 tbsp. Cocoa
2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Shortening
2 Eggs
2/3 Cup Sour Cream
2-1/2 Cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 Cup Boiling Water
Directions:
Directions:
Melt cocoa in enough water to make a thin paste. Add sugar, shortening, and eggs. Beat well. Add sour cream and mix. Add dry ingredients and mix. Add vanilla and water. Blend until smooth. Place in 9 x 13 well greased and floured pan. Bake 25 - 35 minutes at 350 degrees until toothpick is slightly moist when placed in center.
