1/2 cup margarine / butter
1/2 cup oil (not olive oil)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup granola (any type)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup rolled oats

Directions:

1. Cream margarine / butter, oil, and sugar.
2. Add egg and vanilla.
3. Add flour, baking soda, and spices.
4. Stir in granola and oats.

Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.

Variations: One 6oz package of chocolate chips,1 cup chopped walnuts, or 1 cup of raisins.

Note: Aunt Dean uses 2 cups of rolled oats if she doesn't have any granola. She also uses about 1/3 cup raw sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, about 1/2 cup raisins, dried cranberries and cut up apricots.
