1 whole chicken, cut up
Blackened spice mix
Oil
Cast iron frying pan

Directions:
Directions:
Oil all sides of the chicken and generously spread blackened spices on chicken.

In the meantime add 2 Tbsp. of oil to cast iron frying pan and heat over medium high.

Sear chicken on all sides, then transfer to a baking dish and finsh cooking in 375* oven for about 45 minutes.
