Cedar Plank Salmon Recipe

Salmon fillets for number of people being served
4 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Lemon - cut in half
Coarse Salt
4 Tbsp Finely Chopped Red Onion
Fresh Dill Sprigs
Coarsely Crushed Black Pepper
Soaked Cedar Planks

Directions:
Directions:
Completely soak cedar plank for at least 4 hours (overnight is preferred)
Rub entire fillet with olive oil.
Lightly sprinkle chopped red onion and black pepper over top of fillet.
Place a few sprigs of fresh dill on top of each fillet.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over each fillet.
Place plank on grill.
Sprinkly lightly with coarse salt.
With the BBQ cover down, heat for 2 - 3 minutes or until the top of the plank is nearly dry.

Place salmon on top of plank.
Turn heat to lowest setting.
With BBQ cover down, cook salmon for 30 - 35 minutes or until fish flakes.
Squeeze some lemon juice over salmon and serve.
