1 1/3 cup white sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup almonds
1 cup pecans
13 cups of popcorn

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan, melt butter, corn syrup, and cream of tartar. Cook over medium high heat, stirring continuously to hard ball stage (250 º F). Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla. Add the nuts and pour mixture over popcorn. Spread out on a non stick cookie sheet to cool . Store in ice-cream pail.
