2 lg cucumbers (about 4 cups) pared and thinly sliced
1/1/2 tsp salt

Dressing:
1 c sour cream
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 Tbsp (or more) chopped fresh dill
2 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Layer thinly sliced cucumbers in medium bowl, slating each layer.
cover with heavy plate and let stand 2 hours.
rince cucumbers, squeezing out as much liquid as possible.
Pat dry with paper towels.
Combine sour cream, vinegar, dill, sugar, and pepper.
Stir in cucumbers.
Serve immediately or chill.
Thinly sliced onion rings may be added with dressing.
