1 German chocolate cake mix
14 oz. bag caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. oleo
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix according to package directions.
Pour 1/2 cake mix into greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan.
Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

In saucepan over low heat, melt caramels, oleo, and milk. Remove cake from oven and pour mixture over cake.
Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over caramel mixture.

Pour remaining batter over top of this.

Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
