2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks margarine
3 T. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk or 1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. soda
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp vanilla

For icing:
1 stick margarine
3 T. cocoa
6 T. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecan (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
In small saucepan, melt margarine, cocoa, and water together.
Cool slightly. Pour this mixture over flour and sugar in large mixing bowl.
Add buttermilk, soda, eggs and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly.
Pour into greased jelly roll pan (size of pan is 15 x 10 x 1)
Bake 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
Leave in pan to cool

For the icing: Heat margarine, cocoa and milk until melted. Cool and add sugar and vanilla.
Ice cake in pan. Cut in squares.
