Personal Notes:
I remember one time when we lived on the Church farm, Grandma and Grandpa Lewis were coming for Sunday dinner and dad had killed a couple of rabbits. He told us kids not to say say a thing about it being a rabbit because if Grandma knew, she would never eat it. Well during dinner Grandma said how great the chicken was. We all just looked at each other but never said a thing.

I think a good cook is one who can take a pound of hamburger and make dinner for 8 people and that is what my mom Grandma Lewis could do. You were always welcome in her home!
