Mashed potatoes
flour
egg
salt & pepper
Crisco shortening
Directions:
Directions:
Add egg to the mashed potatoes (helps the cakes to stay together)
Mix well, can add salt & pepper or sprinkle it on while you cook them.
Make even balls about the size of a large meatball.
Pat them into patty about 1/2 inch thick.
Lightly flour both sides.
Cook in hot oil until golden brown on both sides
