4 10 oz. small maraschino cherries
2 lbs. powdered sugar
1/2 C butter
2 egg whites
vanilla, almond or brandy flavoring
large block of milk chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Put cherries in a colander and let drain overnight. Knead together the powdered sugar, butter, egg whites, and flavoring of choice. Do not refrigerate. Wrap white cream around cherries. Put onto waxed paper and refrigerate until cold and solid. Melt chocolate. Using a toothpicks, dip the covered cherries into the chocolate. Set on waxed paper until set. Store in a cool area. Bring to room temperature to serve.
