1 cup soft butter
1/3 cup whipping cream
2 cups flour

Filling:
1/4 cup soft butter
3/4 cup powder sugar
vanilla
enough water to spread
food coloring
Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, cream and flour thoroughly. Chill 1 hour. Heat oven to 350º. Quickly roll dough 1/8 inch thick cut in 1 1/2" rounds. Transfer to wax paper. Heavily coat both sides with sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Prick 4 places with fork. Bake until slightly brown or puffy. Cool. Combine filling and spread between two cookies.
