4 1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1 lb. ricotta
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
grated rind of 1 orange


Frosting:
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/4 c. butter
3 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
sprinkles

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Cream butter. Add sugar and continue to beat. Add egg, ricotta and vanilla. Beat well.

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Add to butter mixture and mix until combined.

Drop a teaspoonful of dough on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly brown. Cool completely before frosting.

To make frosting, mix all ingredients together and put on the top of the cookies. Finish with sprinkles.
