1 c butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs (2 whole, 1 separated)
2 tsp vanilla
4 c sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter to consistent of mayonnaise. Add sugar gradually, continuing to cream until light and fluffy. Add whole eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla; stir in flour; mix well.

For sand Tarts: Roll out think on lightly floured board. Cut with round cookie cutter 2 1/2: in diameter. Beat remaining egg white slightly and brush on cookies. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet in 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 6 doz.
