1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 medium green pepper, finely chopped
hot peppers (optional)
4 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. cider vinegar
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. coriander
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup water
2 cups (16 oz) Progresso crushed tomatoes
1 16 oz. Goya red kidney beans (w/liquid)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook beef with garlic, onion and pepper in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat, stirring often to break up meat. Cook until onion is soft and meat has lost it's pinkness. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat.
Simmer for 45 minutes, stirring frequently.

Top with shredded cheddar cheese (melted).

To make chili hotter: add cayenne pepper or tabasco
To improve flavor: simmer longer
