1 bag (12 oz) cranberries, rinsed and picked through
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 or 2 cinnamon sticks
Zest of ˝ lemon
Zest of ˝ orange

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer gently until the cranberries start popping (you will hear them).
Remove from heat, stir and cover.
Cool completely at room temperature.
Sauce will thicken as it cools. Refrigerate until serving time.
