I love having a group of girl friends over for appetizer and Cosmopolitans! A true ladies drink. Keep the alcohol content down and juice content up so we can enjoy them all evening.

Martini Shaker:
1-2 oz Vodka ( Plain, Lime or Cranberry flavoured)
1 1/2 oz Orange Liquor such as Triple Sec, Cointreu or Grand Marnier
1/2 oz Lime Juice
1 tsp Maraschino Cherry Juice
6 - 8 oz Cranberry Cocktail Juice ( Ocean Spray is the best )

Shake with ice vigorously. Pour into Martini Glasses. Garnish with Maraschino Cherry. Serves 3-4.

Cosmopolitan Punch: For less work and more fun, make this. If you don't have a Punch Bowl, large juice jugs will do.

1 cup Vodka
1 cup Orange liquor such as Triple Sec, Cointreu or Grand Marnier
4-5 cups Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice ( can increase if you wish )
1/4 Lime Juice
1/2 cup of Maraschino Cherry Juice
Ice Cubes made from frozen Cranberry Cocktail Juice
Garnish with Maraschino Cherries and thin slices of Lime.

Option: you can add a bit of carbonation by adding 7 Up to punch bowl. I never do, but many recipes suggest it.

Directions:
Directions:
Traditional Cosmopolitan Martini's are 1 oz Vodka, 1/2 oz Triple Sec, 2 oz Cranberry Cocktail Juice and a squeeze of lime juice. Garnish rim of Martini glass with sugar and add a Maraschino to the glass. 2 of these and I have some difficulty standing so I prefer my version of less alcohol, more juice and can sip on them all evening!
