1 ½ cups plus 3 tablespoons of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup packed brown sugar
¾ cup white sugar
2 sticks of salted butter, softened at room temperature
2 cups of good quality chocolate chips or chopped up chocolate bars
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Blend the butter, sugar, and eggs in the bottom of a Kitchen Aid mixing bowl for about 10 minutes.
Add in the flour and baking soda and mix to just combine. Add in the chocolate chips and just combine again. Using heaping tablespoons, place the cookie dough on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper about 3 inches apart from each other. You will need 2 cookie sheets or make 2 batches.
Place in a 325 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until done to your liking.
