1 cup of all purpose flour, 1 cup of corn meal, ¾ teaspoon of salt, ¼ cup of sugar, 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder, ½ teaspoon baking soda, all combined in a large bowl.
1 cup of milk, 2 beaten eggs, ¼ cup of honey, 1 cup of cooked corn kernels, and a ¼ cup of canola oil all combined in another bowl.

Place a greased cast iron skillet into an oven with the rack set to middle. Pre heat the oven to 350.
Mix the wet ingredients with dry ingredients and stir to combine well with either a whisk or a wooden spoon.
Remove the hot skillet from the oven and pour in the corn bread batter. Cook for about 20-25 minutes or until a tooth pick can be removed cleanly from the center. Allow to cool for a few minutes and serve.
