1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
2 lge. eggs beaten
2 c. sugar
8 oz. chopped dates
1 t. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
3 c. grated coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter over med.heat in saucepan. Add eggs, sugar, and dates; bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 min. stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, pecans, and cereal. Cool and shape into finger-sized sticks; roll in coconut.
