1 cup oatmeal (1 minute oats)
1 ½ cup boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 ½ cup flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa
1 ½ teaspoon salt
½ to 1 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°

Pour boiling water over l cup oatmeal. Let stand one minute.

Add sugar, brown sugar,and softened butter. Add eggs one at a time.

Add rest of the ingredients. Mix well.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Frost with your favorite frosting.
