1 Savoy Cabbage
3 or 4 TB Margarine
1/4 C flour
Water
Salt and pepper to taste
A squirt or two of vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash, core and quarter cabbage, put in pan and cover with about 1 to 1 1/2 C water. Cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Do not overcook. Drain, reserving liquid. Chop cabbage (makes 3 or 4 Cups). In pot, melt margarine, adding flour gradually and stirring until it is a nice light brown. Then add liquid slowly. As it starts to thicken, add chopped cabbage. Season with salt, pepper and vinegar. Bring to a slow boil till desired thickness is reached.
