1 chub plain polenta
oil
Maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Heat skillet, once skillet is hot put in enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan. Slice polenta into 1/4" rounds and place in pan. Turn over when the bottom of the polenta is crispy and brown. Once both sides are crispy and brown remove to a paper towel. Serve hot with maple syrup. It is good served with fried eggs.

In the old days polenta used to be called corn meal mash. But the Yuppies took over called it polenta and the price went up about 80%. Still makes for a cheap meal.
