Cookie Dough:
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup margarine
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1 can (16 ounces) pineapple or cherry pie filling

Cheese batter:
2 lbs cottage cheese
1/2 pound cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 cup sugar
3 beaten eggs
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. melted butter or margarine
1 tsp. almond or vanilla extract

Cookie dough crust:
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in margarine. Add eggs to milk, and add to dough mixture. Mix to dough consistency. Pat dough onto bottom and sides of greased 17 x 11 inch pan. Cover dough with pineapple or cherry pie filling.

Cheese butter:
Beat all ingredients well with an electric mixer or a hand mixer. Pour over pineapple or cherry pie filling and cover evenly. Bake in preheated 350º oven for about one hour or until knife, inserted into center, comes out clean. Cool; cut into squares.
