5 lb. potatoes
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisply and crumbled
Salt and pepper to taste
Celery seed to taste
Parsley flakes
3 T. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. vinegar
Directions:
Directions:
Peel, cook and dice the potatoes and add onion and celery.
Mix the sugar, water and vinegar.
Add cornstarch and sugar mixture to the bacon grease and cook until thickened.
Pour over potatoes, add bacon and season as desired.
