2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons baking powder
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup chocolate chips (we use milk chocolate)
1/4 cup butter, softened

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, butter, sugar, & vanilla together. Stir in flour, baking powder, & cinnamon. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips & nuts.

Divide dough in half and shape into 1 1/2" logs. Place on greased baking sheet and flatten slightly.

Bake 18 - 20 minutes at 350º until firm. Cut into 3/4" slices on diagonal. Place cut side down for 10 minutes or until brown.
