2 c sugar
2 c white corn syrup
few grains of salt
1/2 c butter
2 c evaporated milk
1 t milk
1/2 c nuts
vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Boil together the syrup, sugar and salt. When the syrup is very thick add the butter. Add the milk gradually so that the mixture does not stop boiling. Stir constantly and cook until a few drops form a firm ball when dropped in cold water. Add vanilla and nuts pour into greased pans without scraping the sides of the cooking pan. Cool thoroughly and cut in squares.
