1 cup white rice (not minute rice)
milk
2 egg yolks beaten with 1/2 cup sugar
Stiffly beaten egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
Raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Place rice in double boiler, top with milk to the brim
boil over water until done 2 or 2 1/2 hours. Once done beat egg yolks with sugar. Cook 10 minutes longer and add stiffly beaten egg whites and vanilla. Add raisins...serve with milk and cinnamon.

This was Grandma Ruth Schneckloths recipe and my mom made this for lunch with grilled cheese sandwiches..mmmm good!
