2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 tsp. vanilla or almond
2 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
In 2 qt. sauce pan, combine sugar, syrup, water and salt. Stir well over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Cover pan, bring mixture to boil.
Boil 1 min. or until all sugar crystals on sides of pan have melted.
Remove cover and continue gently cooking without stirring to 265º, or until almost brittle ball. As this cooks, in large bowl beat egg whites until stiff (use high mixing speed). Slowing pour syrup over whites. Beat till mixture looses gloss and small amounts holds shape. Drop by teaspoons.
Store in air tight container.
