Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
11/2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
8oz sour cream
4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and butter add eggs and vanilla, then add dry ingredients. Mix. Cover and chill one hour. Roll and cut into shapes. Bake at 425º for 5-7 minutes. I like to roll them rather thick and make them rather big, for more cookies roll them thinner and cut them smaller. Either way watch the bake time. They should just be slightly golden brown, If you overcook them they will be hard and not soft.
