Whole Chicken, Or Chicken Parts
1 c Black Eye Peas
Salt
Pepper
Celery Seeds
1 c Water
1 c Rice
Dash of Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash chicken or chicken parts (whichever you prefer). Season chicken with salt, pepper and celery seeds. Wash black eye peas. Place a cup of water in bottom of crock pot, add black eye peas and chicken. Cook on low or slow setting in your crock pot for 8 hours. The chicken will make a broth. Take 1 c of rice (wash the rice) put in a 1qt pot. Take 2 cups of broth from the crock pot pour in the rice, a dash of salt. Cook until rice is fluffy.
