5-6 large apples, peeled and diced
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. walnuts (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Put apples in a greased 9" pie plate. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples and set aside.

Combine melted butter and egg. Add walnuts if using.

Mix flour and cup of sugar and pour over apples.

Bake for 45 minutes and serve with ice cream.
