1 cup sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup grated cheese
3/8 cup milk
3/8 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and baking powder; and salt and sift together twice. Cut in butter and cheese. Add liquid slowly; mix with knife to consistency of soft dough. Roll 1/3 inch thick on floured board. Cut with small biscuit cutter. Bake at 450º for 15 minutes. Makes 12 biscuits.
