9 medium potatoes
6 slices of bacon
3/4 of a chopped onion
2 T. Flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
Dash of pepper
1/4 to 1/2 c. Sugar
3/4 c. Water
1/4 to 1/3 c. Vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Pare the potatoes, cook until tender, drain. Fry bacon until crisp, remove and drain. Cook and stir chopped onion in bacon drippings until golden brown and tender. Stir in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper. Cook over low heat stirring until bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in water and vinegar. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir one minute, remove from heat.
Crumble bacon and skin the potatoes. Stir bacon and potatoes into hot mixture in skillet. Heat through.
