Desired amount of fresh, large-sized portobello mushroom caps
balsamic vinegar
1 jar of pre-made pesto sauce
salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: burger buns and burger toppings

Directions:
Directions:
With a paper towel, clean the top of the mushroom cap.
Trim or remove stem from portobello.
Lightly salt and pepper both sides of the mushroom.
Place caps on a plate with the ‘gills’ up.
In the ‘gills’, sprinkle about one teaspoon of balsamic vinegar.
Spread one tablespoon of pesto sauce into the ‘gills’.
Grill the portobello, gill-side-up, for about 15 minutes or so. (Don’t flip it!)
Serve alone or on a burger bun with your favorite toppings.
Enjoy!
