1-2 T. butter
1/2 lb. chipped dry beef
4 T. flour
3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a skilklet over low heat. Add dried beef and stir occasionally until it is light brown.
Add flour. Stir until dried beef is well coated with flour. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Stir until thickened.
Serve over toast.

I know this is a favorite of Russ Vollmer's. I add a dash of onion powder and some pepper to this also.
