3/4 c. butter, 1 egg
1/4 c. + 3 tbls. maple syrup, 1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
3 c. uncooked oats
1 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda, 3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Beat together: butter, syrup, sugar, egg and vanilla. Add oats. Mix together and add flour, salt and baking soda. Mix well.
Drop rounded spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake for 13-14 minutes and cool.
