1 c. rice
2 c. water or chicken broth
2 T. oil
1 Knorr bouillon or salt
1 clove of garlic, minced
1/4 onion, minced
frozen vegetables (carrots, corn, peas, etc) or fresh
8oz Hunts tomato sauce can

Directions:
Directions:
Add the oil to a pan and once hot add the rice. Start stirring so that you brown on all sides. Once, the rice is getting brown you can add the onion and garlic and saute until onion is translucent. Now you can add the tomato sauce, water and bouillon. Stir so that the bouillon is melted, then add some frozen vegetables and cover once it's boiling. Lower the heat to low and let simmer for 15 minutes. Enjoy!

This is your basic Mexican rice, but you can add so much to it and get creative once you are comfortable making it :) I like using Jasmin rice, but any is good.
